I have to plan again in short amount of time.
Again Opening Sequene but i deided to do horror as its jsut easy and loads to do.

I have not watched as much this time but is much more tight and pointed.

After Grading

After i got my video for improvments from which i got 26 out of 60 i had to improve it but i did not know what to improve so i thot of doing another video in short time and burning mid night oils.

Audience

I have went aroung my friends with my laptop and school showing them my final outcome and asking them about it:

• Sad and because of that i have used a whole paket of tissues

• It was just like refreshing of my meories as my brother died in a carcrash

• My husband is a total ignorant he went for a cigaret while watching it

After getting those oppinons there was nothing to improve and i was fed up of asking people i have asked 20 people and only 8 said something apart from "Very good".Thats why i have not used them

Overall

The opening sequence broke some rules but every one breaks them especialy in media and photography to achive something new and original and that was my plan.I am not good at expresing my self in words and i dont like writing but i love to film and take pictures.The Film Broke the rules as there is a voice over and subtitles incase that someone would not understand what they say,faint song is in the bakground accompaning the film.The song helped to put this together.

Ending

The ending of the opening sequence ends with a black screan and titles saying i miss you and 10 years earlier to show that this happend before and the movie kicks in after this,so this is all a flash back to show what happend before.

Sixth Take

This is another Car flash back done in black and whithe to represent pain and that it happend long ago,This is point of view and is the final take.

Fifth Take

Fifth take of a close up of the character back aompanied with a zoom.

Fourth Take

This is a fourth take and this clip is used 3 times.
This is a point of view shot to take the viuer into the action.This is a long shot and panning from a car.
This is used as a flashback.

Third Take

This is a thrid take from my opening seqence.
This is a from behind shoulder shot and accompanied with a arc around to synthesise with the charater and to reveild it face a bit as its a mystery.
You are able to see the town lights far away as the person looks at it.
This is a Mid shot.

Second Take

This is a second take showing a back of a character on a rainy day in a hood going up the mountain.
This was done by walking with a camera behind the character(Panning)This was diffiult as it was muddy and i have sliped 3 times but i got there somehow,but it was shaky a bit.

First Scene

      This is a first take of my film:

      Its a panning and a long shot from aprox point of view.

It shows as the woman walks the pawment in the rain in a hood,accompanied by rain.

I had to wait for rain to take this and about 6pm winter time.

Opening

This is an image that i have reated for the opening sequene on photoshop,i have used the backgroung from the original just cut lion and repladed it with my dog,i have made a moving image from a still image.
The Picture of my dog blinking was very hard to achive and i was actualy 24/7 around him with a camera.

When you're gone

This is a music that i am going to use in my film,its going to be comming from non diaogetic source and it will be used as the back ground musid and must be quiet or it will eat away the film.This is at danger of making my video look like music video as it has perfet fit.

I won' be using this as i dont have the things required and not enought time but this is a example of how they do it.

Story Boarding

This is a first page of my story board.

The first scene is my dog barking insted of roaring like the media arts lion,and my dog blinks eye as well.

THIS WILL BE DIFFICULT.

Next is a water flame an image from seondary source,next a black and white siluetues of men.

First scene will be as my friend walks on the pawment and i would pann the camera inside a car as this be usefull,next as the person walks up the mountain and throo all of the opening seq there will be a music accompany.

Close up and a zoom of the person from behind and aompany of arc shot to settle in the place,flash back of a car,next back to the person and flash back again and a crash and boom big finale saing i miss you.









Starting

I have finaly done the research for the opening seqence and i want it to be different as the movie diretors have to experiment with new thing or they will get overrated and boring,I want my Movie to be extra and differrent than other ones.I will do a Drama with a different pinch of thriller and romance if possible.

Lady in the W...a..t..e....r

This is a trailer from another movie that i have analysed called Lady in the water.
This is a Drama with a little dip of scify,it again starts with a story like the others ,but i dont want to do a story at the begining i thot of doing my film with a flash back right at the start.

This is basted on a  story told to children in china and is about a water nimph and about humans as a test for them to chek if they are worthy of being  able to meet them.

Firefly opening

This is Firefly opening and it looks like a sequence or series rather than a movie opening but this is usable as i might get confused because it has loads of writings in additing the characters.

This is more of a western kind of thing but its a drama and thriller as well.

The others

This is a Movie called The others this is one of the videos that i have watched
and analysied,i liked this movie the most and it relates strongly to the idea of my
Film that is going to be a Romance,Drama,Thriller.

This is The others opening credits,rather different than the most i seen as its like a story telling to get the viewer into the movie.

I have decided to do Film with a different genre that we did before as i dont like criminal things.
I have started to watch loads of movies to ding me up,i have foused on romance,comedy,drama and horror as the fascinate me a lot.

Those are the movies that i have watched for my research part of the work,i have analyse them and guide myself base on that evidene when i will do my own film.I have to keep in mind that this should be an opening sequence.

Starting all over

I have started doing the project on my own,i still dont know what is it gona be but i think iam going to stick with the film as i done the pre-task for it.

All good things come to an end

I had a  Big Detour from our Project as our Group has shattered to little fragments as i felt unwanted in our group so i just disbanded it and now iam doing another movie in 11 days,its going to be stresfull and not easy but i will pull throo hopfully.I left because the project started to have nothing to do with me any more so i left because i felt that for that i can get a very low mark.
I don't realy like group work as i'm too calm and quiet still but i have changed a lot just for this subject,people can use it against you so they did and i had nothing to speak for and was mostly ignored unless i gave them a good idea or did something realy good they would use it,but it would be small compare to it all so it wont be really noticed.

Audiene

As far as the views of the general public seemed to be really positive views about our ideas on our film. However the criticism we got was that the fact that they could base their views on anything as we couldn't show the film to them as we haven't made it yet. Another thing that brought to our attention was the fact that our storyline was very complex with the ending being the opening title sequence and main part of this is how we got there. Within the group, there has been a realisation that the storyline, although a great idea would to be difficult to deliver on.

Filming

Our group has done the fillming,I was the lead camera man in the movie but i don't think so i did a good job,we did not have a tripod so my hand was shakikng thoo the editing that we done did the job for it.We have used a vairation of camera angles and shoots like : behind the shoulder when interrigation,worms eye view to show Max superiority,panning shoot to follow the action(mostly when Max was walking),zoom,and close up where used to focus atention.
Next we had to edit it so we blended it the shakines of my hand and done the credits and after that the job was nearly done.
Mise-en-Scene*Establishing shot: Dark black and wight dark windows unknown building and lit from below
*Slanted camera angel: puts you on edge used in the lift to make you feel uneasy
*Character: wearing official looking suit and a dodgy looking Russian hat. Shifty eyes gives the sense he is up to something.
*Low vantage point obscured by take give the feeling of hiding.
*Single light: Cant really make out that's in  the room.
*Where the point of view camera was is now where Bond is placed.
* The colours change from the simple black and wight to a brown tinge to show its from another time.
*They used a close-up to show the realisation that his gun is not loaded.
*To then flashes to Bond with a gun that then shots him and see a short shot of a family picture.
*Finally the classic Bond credits role.
The fun stuff was the scene where Max and David had to kick the door and when they did the man next door came and shouted for like 10 minutes.

Story

Opening Shot - CCTV camera footage, various streets views etc

First Scene
Hard as nails Private Investigator Bray (Max) walks through a federal building, slamming doors as he goes, walking toward his partners office. (Filmed from Low vantage points to emphasise dominance)

Bray gets to the office and takes a seat (dialogue exchanged about new intelligence)
Bartek enters, handing over the new intelligence on the case (with shot of just a little of the body no face). Then exits. Bray sifts through the papers quickly, and then exits the office, heading for the door.

Second Scene
Bray arrives at another building, entering a room where a girl sits on a chair.
He then proceeds to interrogate the girl tirelessly (various shots cut together to show time passing)
She eventually gives the right information.

Bray then sits in his office looking at various papers, looking tired and defeated. (In his head he is going over and over what the girl had said to him, we will actually put this on the sound track)
All of a sudden he has  moment of clarity, and jumps out of his seat.
He grabs the phone and punches the number in, screaming down the phone he orders for backup with plenty of ammo to meet him at a certain address immediately. (The scene ends with a shot of Bray slamming down the phone shot from next to the phone)

Third Scene
Cut straight from the last scene, and have some way to conect the last scene i.e bray getting up and getting his coat and walking out of the office and the sound of slamming van doors and the sound of a van driveing away giveing a link from the last scene to the next.   This next scene filmed from inside of a door we see bray kick down a door and say something ironic and funny taking the style of james bond and 24 etc. Then cut to the opening credits in a James Bond style.

Story Board

Here are the storyboards that sets out what we are aiming to get from the filming. There is clear instructions in the storyline of the opring sequence and what effect we want from the filming and the storyline as its important that the transitions are clear so the viewer understands where the storyline is going. The most important transition is when detective bray goes from the office to the informed location in a hurry with back up to try and shut down the terrorist plot. 




In these shot you see bray interrorgating a suspct that has
conections to the terrorist ring. Bray puts all the evedence
together to try and sus where the ring is baced to take it out.







Here bray has receved inteligence about a plot
 and forts through it to then go to his first leed.

In these shots it establishes the location and introduces the
main role walking to the office to talk with his partner 

 







These are the last scenes of the opeing

 back up rushing out to meet the team and finnishes with
bray kicking down the door of the hideaway.  











Preliminary Task

After we completed enough research we started to do our preliminary task; We done the movie that lasted 2 minutes and we  liked it very much.After that the thing to do was to edit it(special effects and erassing the un-wanted scenes)After that we had to research some more about it and relation to other movie or tv shows.In the editing section we had to use iMovies i could not used because my team didnt let me to do it,and i dont know how to use it.Iam the most creativ person in the team so iam doing posters and props.
Knowlage
This preliminary task was needed to show our undestanding of camera use and different shoots,angles,editing and use of sound.

This is the poster that i have designed for this specific movie,it represents me on the left as the terrorist and two policmen at right( David Baverstock and Max Phipps)I have done this image on photoshop from a movie screenshots and a picture,merged them down and used threashhold effet,then only aadded title and the +18.

Starting

Every one of our group had to do research about the story related things like : Lie to me this is an American television series that premiered on the Fox network on January 21, 2009.In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman and his colleagues in The Lightman Group accept assignments from third parties , and assist in investigations, reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions, through the Facial Action Coding System, and body language.There was one more named stargate atlantis episode:VEGAS where they investigated a murder,this is similar to our movie that we did and had a scene with interigation too.
The othere things are like costumes and props: I have brought demolished cloths to look like after a fight,Max brought rope to tie me and a suit to look like the interigator.

We have researched Thrillers all the time,when we came home we watched Thrillers,we analyse them we bullet pointed them on a special analysis board that we got from our teacher.

Definition
Thriller:
 is a genre of  film and television that uses stress, tension, and excitement as the main elements.This is done by rapid and building up non diaogetic sound or diaogetic sound,but the sund is the main element of it especialy when action kicks in to it.
Those Thrillers are mostly about murder and things related to death or being on the verge of life situations,those include also men in suits,and those are most common.

Induction

This is my media blog that is going to be like a diary,its going to record everything that iam doing in it step by step.For the media AS we have two main parts which are: chosing the coursework theme(video,print,audio,webside) and doing it,but before we have to do a periminary task like and induction for it.In media we have been grouped if we like to do the production,I have been grouped with David Baverstock and Max Phipps to do ourproject.

Taking into consideration

One lesson our group got togethere and we begun brainstorming things for the opening seqence that we are going to produce we came up with things like :
Diner,comming form work being tired,negotiation(max idea)and my idea came out of the blue and i said what about interigation(moment of quiet)and then they said they liked it and we where going to do it.Out group was doing the interigation,but now we had to brainstorm on it as well,we came up with a terrorist interrigation and guess what i'm the terrorist(it does not fit me)Max was the interrigator perfect fit and david the cameraman.Next thing we did was to do a story line and we had no problem with it and we done it quickly.So we did that and an genre of that was a action and thriller a hybrid genre movie(this means that the movie is a combination o two genras)Thriller not so hard to do but Action thats another things so we thought of the good sides and the bad ones too.
